Lisa Marie Scott Playmate Of The Month February 1995 If ballet is an art, then its masterpiece Half-Japanese, with silky black hair and brown eyes

PLAYBOY ASIA - If ballet is an art, then Lisa Marie Scott is its masterpiece. Half-Japanese, with silky black hair and brown eyes, Lisa is a former ballerina who attended the University of California on a scholarship before dropping out to accept a place with a ballet company.

“My father was a captain in the Navy, and my mother is from Okinawa, Japan,” says Lisa. “I was a Navy brat, and my father’s work brought us many different places.” Lisa has lived in Florida, Guam, Japan, Virginia and Hawaii, most recently settling in Los Angeles to pursue a career as a model and actress.

Lisa traveled with her company as well, and her repertoire included lead roles in Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet, not to mention solos in Carmina Burana, Giselle and Le Corsaire. Due to a punishing schedule – and an even more punishing diet – Lisa quit dancing and decided to become a Centerfold. “I had to ask – do I enjoy this enough to sacrifice everything else in my life? I couldn’t keep doing that to my body.”

Since then, Lisa’s put on some weight in all the right places, with natural curves like hers, we hope she keeps doing whatever it is she’s doing to her body. “Posing for Playboy was probably the last thing my classmates expected of me,” admits Lisa, blushing. “In fact, if some friends hadn’t spotted the 40th Anniversary promotion in the magazine, I may never have become a Playmate.” Sending in a portfolio, Lisa was selected to become Miss February 1995, a fitting present for a girl with a February 1 birthdate.

“I’m generally a pretty shy person, but when I get on stage or in front of a camera, I feel very much at home,” reflects Lisa. “I think people are born with stage presence – either they have it or they don’t.” Obviously, Lisa Marie Scott has got it in spades.

After her appearance with Playboy, Lisa returned to school and earned a degree in history, graduating summa cum laude. She’s also landed spreads in FHM and Vanity Fair. “Working with Playboy has been great,” says Lisa. “My ambition is to be successful in my career and to have a great husband and family.” Whatever she does, we know our Miss February will do it well.
